2:16 p.m. - 2008-11-14 of course, when we turned around, we turned around from him taking me to my math midterm... thankfully, my teacher let me make it up. i feel better about this midterm than the last math midterm... i finished 3 out of 4 of the problems, while at the last midterm, i only got about 30% done with each of the problems. D: now, ben's looking and sounding a lot better. this morning, he looked pale and completely out of it... now, he's sitting over by his desk, chattin' it up with his aunt, sipping some mr. pibb. awww, i love him so much. school will be out in two weeks!! :) yeah!!! that's all. later. ________________________________________ 2:15 p.m. - 2008-11-10 he's such a cheap jew, even when he's on the brink of suffocating, he was still on the phone, gasping for air, trying to find the cheapest nebulizer treatment machine available. if i wasn't so in a panic, i would have been laughing up a storm. it was around 11pm, so of course, 99% of every pharmacy in LA is closed. so finally, we gave up, and headed to the hospital. thank god, there's one literally 2 blocks away. why didn't we go there in the first place? because ben likes to survey all of his options, and find the cheapest one... at 11pm, there aren't a lot of options, but he was still willing to look. so now he's better. we're going to buy a second nebulizer so we don't have a repeat of this. so, now for the rest of the weekend recap: friday was my history midterm. i had this elaborate (not really) plan laid out for how the day was supposed to go: 8:50am-- ben drops me off at UCLA. i go to math class. how it actually went: 11:45-- got out of my final five minutes early. called ben to check and see if he is on his way. can't get a hold of him. PERKINS!! AND HE'S HAPPY TO SEE ME!!! :))) 2:06-saturday--repeatingly telling ben that i'm sorry that i was upset and ruined his plan to surprise me with perkins at UCLA. awwww!!! i'm a bitch. :( so speaking of perkins, apparently he has a barking problem when we're away. i just got home, and there was a note on the door saying that he barks nonstop when we're not there. might have to get him a shock-collar. back to the weekend again: so we bring perkins home, and my parents are so in love with him, that they FINALLY decide to get a dog. they've been saying that for a month now, but saturday, they actually did it. they got a cute maltipoo puppy (maltese and poodle mix) which is downright adorable. we're trying to figure out a name for her... they want to name her either zena, or flossy (after my great-grandma... weird). so now, ben and i have a dog, and my parents have a dog. yay!!! haahhhh, so now i'm going to spend the day cleaning the house, and working on homework, and wasting my time doing pointless shit like this. yah!!! ________________________________________ 3:16 p.m. - 2008-11-06 names we like: ok, well i don't like the name lance... that's really gay, but ben likes it. my first history test (the midterm) is tomorrow. i'm not too concerned with it, but i'll be up late with julliete studying the hell out of those roman motherfuckers. i need to clean the house. the floor's all messy, and there's dishes... however, i've just been so busy the last week. ben's parents wont be coming down for thanksgiving. :( very disappointing. ben's mom and her new husband can't afford it on such short notice, and ben's dad wants ben's brother eli to come down too, which he can't until winter break. ahahah, that reminds me. we got a hilarious phone call from eli the other day. he was trippin. ben and i want to take a road trip over winterbreak too... we almost did a spur-of-the-moment road trip to georgia, but that didn't exactly work out. we saw "zach and miri make a porno" last night. that has turned me off to anal sex forever. forever. forever. joseph comes down in two weeks!! i'm pretty effing excited. it's amazing how much you can end up missing an antisocial misfit. he's my buh-larious brother. agh, nick, my gay greek friend is seriously starting to annoy me. he wont stop bitching and moaning about prop 8. jesus christ nick, you're only gay because you hate your mother, and we all know that you're never EVER going to get married (and not because of any marriage laws either, you slut). he's been complaining about how people's tolerance has meant nothing now. of course, i had to tell him to LOOK UP the definition of tolerance. last i checked, it sure as hell doesn't mean that they actually have to support you to be tolerant. they just have to put up with you. sorry nick, but that's just how it is. i'm going to call my grandma and ask her if she's heard that it's no longer going to be the white house anymore. i'm sure she'll be happy. my parents voted party line of course. haha, my mom's not going to vote for a black person just because they're black... hell, i suppose they'd have to work even HARDER to earn her vote because the candidate's black. ________________________________________ 4:46 p.m. - 2008-10-27 no luck. :( they're still looking. they're hoping to find a dog by the end of the week. i got my math midterm grade back today. beyond terrible. f- terrible. just about everyone got a grade lower than 40. :( joseph has gotten so skinny. mom and dad sent pictures of him. he used to be 230 pounds, now he's probably at 180. good god, that's a lot of weight lost in just two months. ok, so we're getting a new stove for our place... the guy from sears just arrived. yay! jesus though, there was a huge ass fucking mess underneath the old stove. it's disgusting. TWO tennis balls, little girl hair scrunchies galore, broken glass... wtf were the old people up to?! i've cleaned up the house. now as soon as the sears guy leaves, i'm going to get started on my homework. :( i have a take-home midterm due tomorrow. easy as pie, i hope. i didn't read one of the books... oh well. sparknotes, holla!! i did a survey on the page back. i cleaned out some of my diary, and all my lame ass surveys went to the garbage... but i just can't help it! i love surveys! we got new bedding. it's in the blues/browns/tans color genre. very masculine, but that's kind of what we were going for. i wouldn't have mind getting luxurious purple bedding, but everyone agreed that it wouldn't go well with our style. :( so yay, new stove! god, our old one looked like it was from the late 80s. now we have a nice new electric one. :) so i guess i should get to homework now... darn. ________________________________________ |
